Pitch Black

<Meihui-Zhu>Meihui was happily sitting in her motel, singing a song, and eating leftovers from Pandora's wedding. It was a perfect night...until the power went out. For a second, she thought that somebody broke in to her house and turned off her lights, wheras she flipped the frickity frick out. But once Mei realized that nobody was trying to rob her or murder her or rape her or something else, she flipped the frickity frick back in. "...That's just perfect."

<MrsKimblee>There suddenly came a soft sobbing sound within Mei's room, sounding strained and desprate, and from somewhere within her motel bathroom. Leaning back and forth slowly, lengths of black hair pulled forward over her face as she sat within the darkness, it rippling slightly with her presence...Sorrow cried gently, manouvering her hands to her face, the lights flickered on and off, before perminantly staying off...throwing Mei and the Sin into darkness...and with nothing but the light dripping of a tap, and her sobbing to acompany the human woman.

<Meihui-Zhu>Okay, no problem, she could just get some matches---What the HELL was that noise?! It sounded eerily familiar, but Mei couldn't remember who cried like that. It seemed to be coming from the bathroom, so Mei took the cleaver out of the pocket in the back of her dress. "Who's there?" she asked after opening the door. If only her eyes had adjusted to the light faster...

<MrsKimblee>When the sound of someone moving toward the bathroom sounded, Sorrow abruptly came to a hault, slowly, pulling her hands from in front of her face, her tear filled eyes moved to look at the door, the silence was stifling, heavy even on Sorrow's ears...staying within the corner, staring at the door as it creaked open, her darkened shadow crawling with what looked like deep fabrics of light material, crawling along the corner and walls, rippling with darkness that trembled with the oncoming figure of Mei.

<X--Zolf-J-Kimbley--X>Zolf sighed, walking towards the hotel he knew Mei was staying at. His wife was missing and he had looked at everyone's place except Mei's. He had been tipped off by someone in the military where Mei was staying. He adjusted his suit as he walked towards Mei's door. The golden eyed man knocked on the door, his sensitive ears picking up the soft sound of sobbing, but then it stopped. He shrugged and knocked on Mei's door. "Mei! Open the door, please? It's me, Zolf... I need to ask you if you've seen someone..." he called as he knocked on the door. He frowned and waited patiently for the Xing woman to open the door.

<Meihui-Zhu>Holy freaking crap. Now that her eyes had adjusted, Mei saw a girl in the corner with teary eyes and...black hair. Oh no. Pandora's homonculus side was in HER HOUSE. Little shadows seemed to be waving around like they were scared. But then somebody knocked at the door, and Mei rushed for the knob...

<MrsKimblee>Sorrow saw Mei...and heard that someone was pulling her away from keeping her company at the door. Letting out a loud wail, tendrils pulle dforward from the corner to try and attempt to wrap around Mei's ankles and pull her to the floor. The sin's limbs cracked slightly as she moved them, twisting her arms to help adjust herself on the cold tile floor, if Mei had fallen, Sorrow would crawl toward her, fingertips blackening as the darkness started to take over her skin, crawling up her hands in an vine like pattern. _{"Pl..lease don't leave..."} She whispered, going to try and curl near the human woman.

<X--Zolf-J-Kimbley--X>Zolf tapped his foot impatiently, waiting for Mei to open the door. The alchemist was worried as fuck and he needed any information he could get from the other Xing woman. He fiddled with his wedding ring, staring at it for a second, calming down a bit before remembering why he as here. He was looking for his wife. He crossed his arms and frowned, still impatiently tapping his foot.

<Meihui-Zhu>"I'm com--agh!" Those tiny, swirly shadows had gripped her ankles and caused her to fall flat on her face. Mei had been caught by Sorrow, and by now she was terrified. Her skin was slowly being covered in the same pitch black color, and the homonculus neared her, murmuring something about "leaving." Of course, "leaving" was the only thing Mei could hear, and "leaving" could mean many, many other things. If you were anywhere near Mei's room at this moment, you would hear a bloodcurdling scream.

<MrsKimblee>The scream! Oh god the scream hurt...it hurt Sorrow's delicate ears...wrenching her tendrils of darkness back from Mei, holding her hands to her ears and falling backward with a sob of pain, writhing slightly on the floor as her darkness retracted back into the edges of her dress, leaving her as her plain self, heavy dress rippling as she trembled, keeping her hands at her ears as she tightly closed her eyes, moaning slightly in pain on the carpet.

<X--Zolf-J-Kimbley--X>The man's head snapped up when he heard the scream. He WOULDN'T apologize to the hotel later. Nope, this was a matter of urgency. Not thinking, he clapped and quickly blew the door in to small splinters of wood. He stepped into the room quickly and walked in the direction of the scream. He soon came to the bathroom and looked into the darkness. His eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness and he stopped breathing for a second. 'No.....' was the only thought that crossed his mind as he stared at Sorrow. Great. The homunculus side of his wife had come out. He looked down at Mei, but then he remembered to brethe. He acted fast, helping Mei up to her feet. He turned back to Sorrow and knelt down. "Hey... Sorrow...? Do..." he swallowed lightly before continuing. "Do you remember who.. who I am...?" he asked softly, noticing she was in pain from the scream.

<Meihui-Zhu>Suddenly, Panda--Sorrow's shadows recoiled as Mei screamed, and it actually caused the homonculus to cry. And then, her door blew up. Gee. She craned her neck to see Zolf walking over to help her up, and she watched him comfort his sobbing wife. By now, the Xingese teacher had regretted screaming and scaring Pandora like that...

<MrsKimblee>Loud noise after loud noise, Sorrow whimpered louder, curling up into a shivering wreck after the explosion...she just wanted to be around people at that moment...she didnt want Mei to leave her...she didnt want to be left all alone again...she couldnt take it...white eyes opened again to see Insan- no wait....that wasnt the Sin that she knew....who was it? He looked just like him...and felt so much like him...it must have been...struggling to get her words out she shook her head. "I just...want company..."

<X--Zolf-J-Kimbley--X>Zolf was totally at a loss by now. Insanity was becomeing ever more persistant and he clenched his eyes shut. He eventually let the homunculus tke control. 'Don't you dare scare her anymore... Got it Insanity?! And don't you dare! Leave her alone!' Zolf yelled at the homunculus in his mind. Insanity's voice laughed at him and sighed. "Yeah, yeah.. I got it.." he said in his mind to Zolf. Insanity's violet gaze turned to Sorrow, sighing softly. "Hey Sorrow.... it's me...." he said, his pointed teeth showing slightly. He knew Sorrow didn't uunderstand what a host was, but he didn't want to confuse her. He noticed what Zolf had been doing and he sighed, continuing to rub his sibbling's shoulder. He could feel fear rolling off of her in waves, and the Sin smiled lightly, stroking Sorrow's hair gently. Hoping she'd calm down some.

<Meihui-Zhu>That's odd. Zolf's tone of speech seemed to change, and Mei was puzzled until Masochism popped up and said, 'Hey! It's Insanity! Personally, I don't think he's as mad as me.' 'Shut it, Maso.' The homonculus just shrugged. 'Hey, you know, I could always take over and make Sorrow feel more at some, honey~' Mei sighed as she pet Sorrow's head. She didn't even notice the shadows grip on to her feet, because she was too busy talking with Masochism. 'No, Maso, I know for a fact all hell will break loose if you do that.' Luckily, right now was a calm moment. If the tension got higher, Mei knew that Maso could easily take over and do something stupid. Please don't do something weird...

<MrsKimblee>Sorrow looked upward as he saw the change in his eyes, the deep purple that enveloped them, gently gripping at his jacket with a delicate whimper once again, feeling Mei's hands lightly soothing her hair...these people where staying..they where staying with her! They didnt run...Sorrow felt a wave of slight tingling pass over her chest, glancing up at Insanity, shaking fingertips gripping his shirt tighter...what was it about this one...that drew her so close...unlike when she was with Revenge or Pain...Sorrow swallowed lightly, trying to move upward to sit, looking around at where they where...this place wasnt too farmilular...but it was nice, it was dark, and that was all she needed. "It's strange...here.." She whispered, looking toward Mei as she observed how deep in thought the woman looked, gently turning toward her, fingers moving from Insanity to Mei, lightly trying to brush across her cheeks, watching every facial movement that the other woman made.

<X--Zolf-J-Kimbley--X>Insanity looked down when he felt Sorrow grip his shirt. He smiled at her, helping her sit up when she had moved to sit up. He watched her carefully, wondering why he felt so close to her. More than any other homunculus he knew. It was her, always. He shifted so he was in a better position on the floor, unfloding his legs and leaning up against a wall. He looked over at Mei, wondering if she was alright or if she was struggling with her own homunculus. Insanity sighed, resting his hand on Sorrow's shoulder, continuing to rub it. Maybe it was just his host, but he felt... oh what was the word..... Compassion? Yeah, compassion towards her. He frowned slightly and closed his eyes, listening to Kimblee. 'She's my wife when she's not in that form... I still consider her my wife even if she is Sorrow... I love her that much... that's why you feel that way Insanity.... it's basically me... but you may have your own feelings of like towards her. But, stop listening to me for now and concentrate on my wife... calm her down.... tell her you'll always be there for her..... and that you won't abandon her.. Goodbye for now.. Insanity..' Kimblee said as he closed his eyes. Insanity sighed and looked at Sorrow, that same feeling running through him, listening to her words. He looked around as well and frowned. "Yeah... Hey, you...." he said, looking at Mei. "Where are we?" he asked softly.

<Meihui-Zhu>Mei was somehow drawn to Sorrow's hair. It was all inky and dark and stringy and sad and Grudgey and long and watery and long and inky and pitch black and black licorice and ponies and taco and yams and---Oh look question. "We're in my motel room..." she replied.
